Since 1893, BERNINA has been dedicated in developing and manufacturing high-quality sewing machines. Their goal is to inspire not only sewing experts, but also those who want to become one and to be creative and sew for themselves with a variety of sewing and embroidery ideas as well as matching patterns.
"Keep calm and sew"
In times of working at home, sewing is experiencing a boom. This also benefits BERNINA, which is why they implemented a large campaign with sewing-enthusiastic influencers in the summer to promote their products. We were able to support them in this and, in addition to selecting the right influencers, we also took on the organizing, briefing and coordination of posts with the influencers.
"Made to create"
The influencers took BERNINA's motto to heart and sewed eagerly with the help of BERNINA sewing machines and the matching sewing kit. In that moment, hip and stylish vegan shoppers were created, which the influencers presented in Vogue style to their community in creative sewing and fashion posts. The colorful and diverse images attracted a lot of attention from the community and motivated them to start numerous DIY sewing projects.
Through the collaboration with eleven influencers, a total of 22 posts with over 50 stories were published. These achieved a total reach of over 200,000 with a great engagement rate of 5% on average.
"Don't despair, ask BERNINA"
Of course, there were also some influencers who still needed a little support when it came to sewing. Therefore, we invited the influencers to a workshop in BERNINA's sewing studio, where they received simple tips and tricks from a professional sewer, enabling them to sew the bag themselves in just a few hours.
